"ORANGE IS THE NEW BLACK"

Parris is starting the new year Operating Steadicam on the new Television series ORANGE IS THE NEW BLACK, a NETFLIX original series with DP Vanja Cernjul and a bunch of great directors including Michael Trim, Andrew McCarthy, Constantine Makris and Phil Abraham.

CapitalOne commercial, "After the Fall", Bank of America commercial and SNL





OPERATED B camera for DP Jim Fealy on this CAPITAL ONE spot.



Recently Parris operated steadicam for a few weeks on the feature film AFTER THE FALL with Director Anthony Fabian and DP Elliot Davis. 




Parris been working regularly on SNL as an operator or Steadicam op for the last few years with many different DPs such as Dave Phillips but the latest DP Jason Vandermer is as funny as a cast member and cracked me up all day...a 20 hour day FYI!

Daughtry music video

Music videos are fun to work on, for camera at least, but this Daughtry video for "Crawling Back to you" was particularly cool. Director Laurent Briet always brings something special.

Parris used a rickshaw to get the speeds needed repeatedly to achieve the Hitchcockian dolly reverse zoom effect which Laurent amplified in post to make the video really move and create a crazy look.
